The Ultimate Cable Park in The Palm Beaches

Wakeboarding, water skiing, and more: Splash into your next family-friendly water adventure in The Palm Beaches!

Are you looking for some fun family activities? Do you want to add some adrenaline to your visit to The Palm Beaches? Or do you want to surprise your kid with an extraordinary birthday party? We got you covered! Stop at Shark Wake Park in West Palm Beach and make unforgettable memories!

Located in Okeeheelee Park, Shark Wake is a family-friendly water park with two main attractions: A cable park and an obstacle island.

Cable Park

But what exactly is a cable park? A cable park pulls riders in a circle around the lake through a pulley system. The cable’s speed can be manually controlled by an operator, but the average speed is between 16 (for the beginner trail) and 18 (for the advanced trail) miles per hour. Riders just have to grab a rope, hold tight, and keep their balance. The trail includes ramps and rails on the side of the lake to try new tricks. If it’s your first time, you’ll have to learn some tricks like how to handle a curve or how to properly start from the dock. Shark Wake staff will be happy to help you! Whether you just want to learn some useful tips at the starting dock or get a private or group lesson from a trained coach, the staff will provide anything you need to make your first experience a success. All lessons must be booked in advance.

Obstacle Island and Shark Shack

Shark Wake’s Obstacle Island is one of the largest floating playgrounds on the East Coast. The island features a floating obstacle course with slides, inflatable mattresses, climbing towers, monkey bars, and more. Jump, dive, splash, climb… No matter how old you are, fun is guaranteed for kids and adults alike! And in just a few days from now, it will be even more fun with a brand new Obstacle Island coming soon on March 5th, 2022! The water is around 10-15 feet deep, so knowing how to swim is required, although you’ll wear a life jacket all the time. After a long day on the water, you can relax at the Shark Shack and enjoy a cold beer, a glass of wine, an ice cream or a snack on the deck with a 360° view of the park. Ready to jump in the water? Check prices for Obstacle Island here.

Private Events

The entire Shark Shack area – including both upper and lower levels – can be rented for birthday parties and private events. You can choose to rent just the upper level (table seating for 40 people), the lower level (table seating for 60-100 people), or both (approximately 150-175 seats). Should you need more space, there are additional tables in the area immediately outside the Shark Shack. Book the Obstacle Island, Cable Park, Shark Shack or a combination of all three, and customize your special celebration as you wish. There are party packages available for the Cable Park, Obstacle Island or a combination of both. Catering options, music, food trucks, and alcoholic beverages are also available.
